I’m working on another series of “Saints”. This piece centers around the symbiotic relationship between the White Oak and the Stellar’s Jay. It’s still hard to verbalize everything that’s going through my head, so I’m allowing it all to compost while I follow the process of initia- l sketching in Procreate, and preparing the wood panels. I love these birch panels in gothic shapes from Trekell- I’m an absolute sucker for anything remotely building shaped and/or orthodox icon shaped. This series is definitely a continuation of my fascination for how humans interpret the divine experience visually.
